A 16-year-old offender with a history of four crimes in three days, including armed threats and physical assaults, was identified by the Minor's Cabinet of the DDI Mar del Plata. After obtaining information on his whereabouts, four search warrants were requested for his capture in Coronel Vidal.
The young man was accused of threatening several people in the city of Mar del Plata, including a 33-year-old man with the phrase "I'm going to get you, snitch" in front of a store in the Hegoburu and Maestrilli area on January 18. The following day, he attempted to steal a motorcycle along with another 15-year-old, threatening the occupants of the vehicle with a gun.
In another incident, the two minors intimidated a 32-year-old man at the corner of Avellaneda and San Martín, threatening to burn down his house. Later, they confronted him again in another location, this time armed with sticks and bricks, throwing the threat: "I'm going to mess you up," before fleeing.
The last crime attributed to the young man occurred on January 22 in Plaza Libertad, where he brutally attacked a 27-year-old man, causing injuries to various parts of his body. Following a police operation, the minor was arrested on Wednesday and subsequently transferred to the Specialized Detention Center (CEA) in Batán, by order of prosecutors Mariana Baqueiro and Walter Martinez Soto.
